Indigenous and Women
of Color Rise

In 2019, Fertile Ground Conservancy hosted Indigenous and Women of Color Rise in Seattle, Washington — an event centered on the experiences and voices of Indigenous women and women of color confronting male violence, sexual exploitation, objectification, and racialization.

The event brought together activists, organizers, and thinkers working at the intersection of gender, race, and ecological justice. Video recordings from the event are available below.
